“Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.” Acts2:41
General Reflection:
We are often reminded to conduct CLPS and invite participants to attend. However, some of us question why we are talking about numbers i.e., how many we should invite to our CLPs and Camps. We need to remember that behind these numbers are real people, real Catholics, real sons and daughters of God to whom we are called by God to share the Good News and share our faith experiences. They may be going to church every Sunday, but how about the other tools for spiritual growth – prayers, Scriptures, Sacraments, service and fellowship?
Personal Reflection:
Do I see our evangelization work as my response to Jesus’ call for me to spread the Good News, to share His love to others? Or do I see our CLPs as mere activities so we can increase our membership?
Do I sincerely believe that CFCA is in the business of saving souls for God?
