July 2023 (Do the Work of an Evangelist)

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” (Eph 4:11-13)

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” (2 Cor5:20)

General Reflections:

Jesus gave the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, the tasks to equip His people for the works of service. As followers of Jesus; as His disciples, He also has equipped us for the works of service in our community. “The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.” (1 Thes 5:24)

“Whoever God appoints, He anoints.” When God says to do it, you can count on His anointing. God will sometimes give you an assignment that looks humanly impossible, but He will make it possible; “because nothing is impossible to God.”

When God calls you to be a leader or take higher or different leadership role, you can count on His anointing and blessings.

Therefore, God’s anointing makes difficult tasks easier to do. Our resources are limited, our energy is limited, our knowledge is limited, our wisdom is limited, and our talents are limited. However, God is not limited. With His anointing, we can handle things better, last longer, and go further.

We simply have to pray “that from His glorious, unlimited resources, God will empower us with inner strength through His Spirit.” (Eph 3:16) We simply have to trust God, do whatever He is calling us to do, and let His will be done, not our will.

Personal Reflections:

Do you firmly believe that our community Couples for Christ Australia is a work of God for evangelization, mission, formation, transformation, and renewal?

Do you firmly believe that the mission of CFCA is for the renewal of individual, families, and the church?

Do you also firmly believe that you have a special calling from God for becoming a member or leader in CFCA?

Do you firmly believe that when He appoints, He anoints?

If so, are you willing to accept a leadership role or take a higher or different role within CFCA including the Family Ministries?

Do you firmly believe that nothing is impossible to God, that He will provide you with whatever you need to perform your duties?

Do you firmly believe that “from His glorious, unlimited resources, God will empower us with inner strength through His Spirit?”

Do your firmly believe that God always provides?

Are you willing to let go and let God?
